This history isn't very complete, I made the older version history more general to make it shorter.

Version 1.0 till version 2.2: [beginning of 97 to 20.aug.97]
All these version were done with CanDo.
At version 1.1 appeared unit edition (done in a separate program, wasn't really handy)
At version 1.2 appeared an Arexx port. It is now gone because I did not yet manage to get it work in E.
At version 2 appeared composed units.
I now stopped CanDo development and started AmigaE programming. (CanDo was too slow, limited and buggy)
Any CanDo programmer can ask me the decks up to version 2.2 for free.
Version 2.5 [October. 97 to 21.Feb.98]
* E and MUI version
* All the amazing MUI possibilties (backdrops, resizeable window, ...) are now available!
_ About four/five time faster than the previous version!
* Supports Locale, French and English available.
_ Changed the UnitData format. The first line shows now its format version number.
_ Rewrote the guide in a more logic way. (again :-)
_ The Help key is now replaced by the help bubbles (keep the mouse over something some time to see 'em)
* Easy unit editing/creation with Drag 'n' Drop facilities!
_ The Arexx port is no more available :-(

! Lots of bugs fixed (I did not know I could produce so much bugs, should I go working at Microsoft's ? :-)
_ Corrected some mistakes in the catalogs, in the guide and in UnitData (I hope there are no other mistakes in UnitData, because Convertor gives then wrong result...)
_ Sometimes when there was a problem (e.g. trying to use an unexistant unit), Convertor wrote a message in StdOut (i.e. in the cli). Now it opens a requester.

* Memory units (bytes and so on) you can at last use Convertor to calculate the time of a transfert :)
Note: Don't use KByte, MByte and so on with the prefixes but from the list (KByte and not K.Byte) because a kilobyte is 1024 bytes and not 1000...

! When the last composed unit of a group is deleted, the group magically disappears.
Version 2.72 [9.April.98]
! The unit decoding was buggy in V2.6. Now fixed.
! Fixed a serious bug that made all negative numbers displayed too big (i.e. -5 became -3...)

* Automatic expression evaluations: enter 6*8 in a field and it is automatically replaced by 48..
_ Removed the 'calculator' item in the tools menu, since it wasn't needed anymore.
* Convertor now prevents the user to create units/groups with bad names (e.g. creation of a group named base or of two base units with same names...)
! More "idiot-proof": inverse a unit of value zero does not crash anymore and creation of a base unit with value zero is forbidden.
Version 2.73 and 2.75 [15.Mai.98]
! Eeeek! I've made a huge, incredibly stupid mistake! I don't dear to tell you what it was.
Anyway, trying to use unexistant units does not crash anymore.
! The <bad name check> (see above) always shouted at the user when he tried to create a group/base unit.
! Fixed some mistakes in this guide and in the catalogs.
! My programm asked MUI to display an mui requester if mui libraries could not be started. Isn't that funny? Fixed.
! On some occasions, group or unit's names could be truncated. Fixed.
_ Shortcuts for the unitdata menu.
_ Some useless things were sometimes written in the unitdata when saving. Default unitdata is now about three hundred bytes smaller :-)
! Convertor now prevents the user from deleting all base units or all groups, that cause Convertor to crash.
! The catalogs were wrong at version 2.74. It has been fixed in v2.75
